Once you and your real estate agent have determined what you can afford, where you want to live and what your must haves and your like-to-haves are, your agent will determine what available properties meet all or most of your criteria and will send you the MLS® or other system listings for your review and will schedule viewings in a logical way to maximize your time.

Your agent can set you up on a “search” (setting your criteria into the MLS® System, which gives you access to view properties the minute they come on the market and 24 hours before the general public gets to see them. This gives you a leg up if a “hot property” hits the system.

The review and view process will continue until you have found your perfect home. You can stick to your guns if your timeline is endless or adjust your criteria according to the urgency of the task.
