How To Deal With Showings
Vacate the property. Potential buyers aren’t comfortable if the home owner is present.
Prepare yourself for the fact that you will have strangers coming through your home, interrupting your privacy, looking into your closets and cupboards, etc.
Keep your homes in a “ready-to-show” condition at all times.
Make sure your home is available to show on short notice. Never turn down a showing – every showing could bring THE ONE – the buyer for your home.
Make beds, ensure the oven is clean, turn lights on, open drapes or blinds during the day and keep pets out of the way.
Make sure your agent provides you with feedback on every showing. This feedback is extremely helpful in determining any changes that need to be made to price or the home itself.
